These jeans are not this color at all – they are a darker color more grey blue with fading on the front. I am going to keep since they are comfortable – fit in the waist a little baggy in the legs.

These jeans are so cute and comfy. The waist has elastic so they are stretchy without looking like stretchy pants. Love democracy pants. I’m not as thin as I used to be with fluctuating weight. These pants are perfect for up and down weight gain. They give a little but don’t look too tight or loose. Also the material is buttery soft

I LOVE these jeans! They fit great, they’re super comfortable and have a nice give without being too stretchy. They’ve washed well and are the most comfortable and best fitting jeans I’ve ever owned! I got the petite size 8 but given I’m 4’11” I did have to hem them up but only by about an inch! That was a first because most other petites I’ve had to take up more! And the waist fits beautifully without the usual gap I get in the back. I never find myself having to hoist them up! I got them in blue and black bootcut and I’m going to get the white as well!

I’ll swear these are the best fitting jeans for older women. I’ve lost my butt and somehow it ended up in my stomach. This fit is perfect. Cinches in the stomach without giving me a muffin top. For reference I’m 5’3” and 150 lbs. The 12 petite is absolutely perfect. They are high quality jeans and go on sale sometimes which I’m so thankful for. Amazon has done right by me.

I love the Democracy brand. It’s my 3rd pair I own. For reference I am 5’1, 220 and ordered sz 2 in the white. There’s some stretch to them and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable and soft. The length is also nice as they hit right at my shoes, however, I can wear them also like a capri style as I can roll them up twice. I like the fact that I can wear them either way. Recommend!

Jeans are a very good quality. Would recomnend trying 1 size down from regular size. My order size 6 petite. Perfect fit for me…97 lbs. 5’2 1/2 “. Not too tight. Ordered both indigo and black.
Waist and length perfect. Size 8 Petite was a little too big. Just received my 3rd pr of democracy jeans, in blue. Really happy with the fit and Look.

I have a hard time finding petite sizes in local stores. Only one place stocks the Democracy brand, and I have purchased several pairs in various colors over the past few years. Recently I went looking for black ones, and had no luck, so was delighted to find them on Amazon. I am 5’2″, and the hem hits the middle of my ankle bone. I like the straight legs, which aren’t at all tight, but aren’t baggy either. The color is a true dark black that didn’t run the first time I washed them in cool water. Fabric is soft, with just a wee bit of stretch. The “Ab Solution” waistband is extremely comfortable, and one of the best features of this brand. The jeans look good with both tucked in and not tucked in tops, and they can be dressed up or down. One of the few clothes brands that has maintained excellent quality over the years. I just wish I could find them more readily in stores, because these cost a bit more on Amazon that I normally pay for them. Still, the price is well worth it. Highly recommend.

These pants are to the size of measuring, if you like them tight take a chance on a size smaller. I like the fit, softness of the material, and the tummy control. I washed/dried before wearing, no shrinking or washing out of colour. It did arrive with a funky smell but completely washed out, and they have an odd set of lines in the dye across the tummy area but that didn’t stop me from immediately ordering a second pair because they fit so perfectly.

LOVE the fit but the blue has the markings that are just a smidge strange. They’re on the photos so it wasn’t a surprise, but once you see them in person, it wasn’t appealing. Button was also not the easiest. It’s a bummer bc the feel and fit of the jeans were amazing.
